Rightmove House Prices Tool

Establishing market value 
  1. Get postcode of property
  2. Enter the postcode less the last character into search box on the Rightmove House Prices Tool.  i.e. If the postcode is AB12 4RJ just enter AB12 4R
  3. On the right hand side under where it says “Change your criteria” input the property type i.e. terraced, specify whether it is new or resale, and then change the last field to Sold in 2008.
  4. Then click on the most recent sold property and knock off 10%.  This figure should be your Market Value.
