I am not sure if you know I have created a site where you can search for properties based on what is written within the listing of the property.  Consider it the google of the property portals.

 

Now I have played about with it this weekend and I have found 3 really effective ways to find specific type of property deals:

 

1. Use the location as part of what to search for

 

If you are looking for a portfolio in Manchester then search for:

 

Manchester portfolio

 

Then all the property portfolios that are for sale in Manchester will appear.  No need to trawl through all listings in Manchester to find a portfolio.  So even though the site is called NotLocation.com you can still use the location to refine your results.  TRY IT NOW.

 

2. Use a really specific location to home in on precise properties

 

I grew up in Harlow.  Harlow is split in to several regions called Sumners, Katherines, Parndon Wood etc.  Now you will not find these locations in the Rightmove drop down menu!  But you can simply search:

 

Sumners

Sumners Harlow

 

And all properties in this precise location will come up.  You can do this for anywhere in the UK.  TRY IT NOW.

 

3. Use unique keywords associated with what you are looking for

 

I really like the Housebuilders Octagon.  I like looking at how they decorate their properties on the inside.  They build all over the UK but if I want to find all the properties Octagon have for sale I simply search:

 

Octagon

 

And all the Octagon properties come up! So if there is any unique word you can think of associated with the properties you are looking for use it.  TRY IT NOW.
