I have a busy 16 months ahead

I have been doing what I did back in 2000 which got me where I am today.  That is:

               

Playing with my…….spreadsheet.

 

I used to add columns after my existing portfolio to see how much I would earn if I remortgaged, accessed the equity and bought more. 

 

Fast forward to now and my spreadsheet looks like I was predicting all those years ago.  Now I have to add another 850 columns to incorporate all the properties I intend to buy over the next 16 months.

 

The monthly profit figure at the end of the spreadsheet I have to say is very large.  Large enough for anyone to live a life most would dream about.  If that is not a motivator for me I can’t be breathing!

 

So I know I am going to be busy.  To build a system where my team can cope with so many purchases (around 50 per month) is going to take some time, probably one month, but then it is all systems go.

 

We have the situation where only the true die hard property people are buying.  Those who know it is the guaranteed path to wealth.  This is great news for me.  Hardcore property people want to pay next to nothing for property.  I am happily outbidding them hence I can build my portfolio very quickly.

 

Then all I have to do is rent them which is easy.  It is what I have been doing for the last 10 years.  If the market recovers I can hold, sell or buy more.  At this point I have not decided.  I am just focused on getting another 800 properties to hit that magic number which I have always been secretly chasing:

 

1,000 properties by age 41. 

 

I have set my target to do it by 40 hence the 16 month time period.  So can I ask – what is yours?  No matter how modest or grand it is well done on you on having a target.  Not got one? SHAME ON YOU!
