I am always intrigued by people’s drive and ambition. I have been thinking and you can split people in to 4 types when it comes to financial ambition:

Not bothered. So not bothered either way whether they have money or not. Life is too short to worry about money. There is much more to life than money.

Want a minimum standard and then not bothered. These people want to be able to live a normal life, have a house, have a bit of security etc. but once they have that they wish for no more.

Want a bit more. These people just simply want a bit more. They think that if they can have an extra 20% more of what they have already got then they will be happy. However the goal posts continually move!

Want a lot more. These people want way more than what they have. Not content with wanting double what they got. These people want 10 times more than what they already have. Some would call them greedy others would call them ambitious. Depends which country you live in!
