What a story!

A few things I would like to put across:

  1. The BBC refused to show any interviews with happy clients we have (and we have plenty of them!)
  2. I do have staff!  There are 10 of us excluding me who all assist in finding deals for my clients.
  3. We worked with every single client that was shown on the programme to get to a resolution on each of their deals.
  4. The county court judgements obtained by the clients were obtained by default.  This means there was no court case.  When you do not recive court papers how can you defend them? I have managed to set one of them aside (November 5th) and I am in the process of setting the other one aside.  These will then be fully defended in court. I have been advised by my solicitor that I have a very strong case.

I was surprised how much the BBC left out of what we sent them.  We have over 500 clients and we try to meet their expectations.  I understand that investing in property is not for everyone as you have to have a certain stomach and attitude for it.  The BBC had a story to tell and they were not going to change it regardless of the facts.  These local productions have very little research budgets so seeking the truth is simply too expensive!

Buying property with little or no money requires persistence.  Things can and do go wrong.  We are there to guide the transaction away from failure.  If it does fail we simply find a client another deal.

This is why I love the internet.  It gives you the chance to put your side of the story across and let the reader/viewer make up their own mind.   I gave this interview shortly afterwards.

Anyway I refuse to get angry about that article.  You cannot have it all one way.  As they say all publicity is good publicity!  If you want to talk to anyone about the article my staff (who apparently do not exist!) are happy to speak to you to reassure you that we are a real and genuine company.

P.S. If you want to see how the BBC report on other genuine businesses read this article about Ryanair and make up your own mind! Also this video made me smile. I think O'leary has a new fan!
